PROJECT OVERVIEW
Melia Rial Interior Design was engaged to design the Mind Health Solutions clinic in Brisbane's Inner South, creating a calm and considered healthcare environment that supports patient wellbeing through thoughtful design.
The fitout includes a reception, waiting area, private consultation rooms, and a shared kitchenette accessible to both staff and patients, each space planned to balance comfort, privacy, and everyday function. A curved, fluted timber reception desk anchors the arrival experience, finished with a brass kickplate and a glass pendant light that set a warm, welcoming tone from the moment patients walk in.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design set out to create a calm and inviting atmosphere through a carefully curated palette of soft green tones, warm timber finishes, natural materials, and generous natural light. Considered space planning ensures efficient circulation throughout the studio while maximising the usability of each training space.
A strong emphasis was placed on the client journey, from the moment of arrival through to the training floor. The reception and retail environment was designed to create a warm first impression and reinforce the studio's brand identity, while training spaces were planned to provide clear sightlines, flexibility, and comfort for both individual and group sessions.
Contemporary lighting, refined finishes, and integrated retail displays contribute to a premium studio experience, clean, considered, and built to last.
