PROJECT OVERVIEW
Melia Rial Interior Design was engaged to design the SmartClinics Pullenvale medical centre, creating a contemporary healthcare environment that supports efficient clinical operations while providing a welcoming experience for patients and staff.
The fitout incorporates reception and waiting areas, consultation rooms, treatment spaces, staff amenities, and support areas, carefully planned to balance functionality, durability, and patient comfort. Every element was designed to meet the professional standards of a modern medical practice while remaining approachable and easy to navigate.
DESIGN APPROACH
The design set out to create a healthcare environment that is both functional and genuinely inviting. Considered space planning supports intuitive patient flow, efficient staff movement, and the operational demands of a busy medical practice.
Custom joinery is a defining feature throughout the clinic, integrating reception, clinical storage, and staff amenities into a unified and considered design. Warm timber finishes, durable materials, and a neutral colour palette give the interior a contemporary feel that is professional without being clinical.
Feature lighting, thoughtfully selected finishes, and carefully considered detailing reinforce the clinic's identity, while practical, healthcare grade material selections ensure the fitout stands up to the demands of daily use.
